JOB POSITION IN PERSON - APPLICANT MUST BE LOCATED OR WILLING TO RELOCATE IN WASKOM, TEXAS

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and assist in promoting good oral health practices.

Responsibilities:

Conduct dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Perform dental assessments and review patient medical history
Take and develop dental x-rays
Administer local anesthetics under the dentist's supervision
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar systems
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques for infection control
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
Monitor and record vital signs during patient appointments

Requirements:

Associate degree in Dental Hygiene or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
State licensure as a Dental Hygienist -Prophy and sealant certified Is Must
CPR Card is must
Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining medical records
Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
Strong knowledge of patient assessment and treatment planning
Understanding of medical coding for billing purposes
Experience in assisting with dental procedures is a plus
Ability to perform tasks with precision and attention to detail

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
