We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice in Mandeville, LA. This is a primarily fee-for-service practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. As an Associate Dentist, you will work in a collaborative environment with other dental professionals to deliver comprehensive dental care. There is a well-established client base, and an active marketing program to continue growing the patient base. Responsibilities:
• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
• Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including oral diseases and conditions of the teeth, gums, and jaw.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Take and interpret diagnostic radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest dental technologies, procedures, and best practices.
• Build rapport with patients to foster a positive, comfortable experience in the office.
• Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and office staff to provide the best care.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sterilization protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with dental practice laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Valid state dental license and any required certifications.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform a variety of dental procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality dental care.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Good time management skills and ability to work efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
