Alan Robbins DDS is a fee-for-service dental practice in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago seeking a passionate and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing personalized, high-quality care to our patients in a warm and welcoming environment. Hours are 8-5 M, T, W and 7-4 Th. No evenings or weekends!
About the Role:
You will play a vital role in providing comprehensive dental hygiene care to our patients, including:
Reviewing patient health history and updating records
Performing thorough oral prophylaxis (scaling, root planing, and polishing)
Taking intraoral digital x-rays
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Performing periodontal assessments and charting findings
Assisting the dentist as needed, if required.
Recording clinical notes and charting patient progress
Adhering to all infection control protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) licensed in the State of Illinois
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and techniques
Knowledge of dental software and charting systems (Curve Hero, Apteryx XV Web)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current CPR and BLS certifications
Proficiency with iTero intraoral scanner (preferred)
