Full-Time and/or Part-Time Dental Hygienist
A family owned dental practice with a positive, friendly environment is looking to hire a full-time and/or part-time dental hygienist. The office is open Monday through Thursday.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive work environment with excellent customer service
- Complete dental prophylaxis & oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anesthetic agents when needed
- Take X-rays utilizing digital X-ray equipment
- Effectively communicate findings of oral exam with dentist
- Educate patients on the importance of proper dental care and maintenance
- Review dental charts in Dentrix Ascend and make necessary notes
- Review patient medications and assess appointment needs
- Prepare treatment rooms
- Maintenance and sterilization of instruments for dental hygiene treatment
- Stock hygiene rooms with proper supplies
- Contributes to team effort and goals of the office
Qualifications:
- Dental Hygiene State License
- CPR Certification
