Are you a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist looking to join a friendly, patient-focused team? North Babcock Dental Care is seeking a dedicated professional to provide top-notch oral care and education to our valued patients.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and follow dental hygiene practices per American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines.
- Conduct and document patient oral examination such as dental caries, periodontal diseases, and oral
abnormalities.
- Perform dental prophylaxis including scaling, root planning, polishing, sealant application.
- Develop individual treatment plans to improve or maintain oral health.
- Educate and instruct patients about proper dental hygiene practices.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Maintain patient dental records according to clinic’s policies and regulations.
- Follow HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Current Dental Hygienist license issued by Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comprehensive understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
- Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft), digital radiography systems and infection control protocol.
- Positive, patient-centered demeanor and professional appearance.
- Current CPR Certification.
