Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dentist to join our pediatric dental practice in Gaithersburg, MD. This position is available immediately for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9AM - 5PM, with strong potential for additional days in the near future.
Compensation:
- Pediatric Specialists: 40% of production
- General Dentists: 35% of production
Hours:
- Currently: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Future opportunity: Expansion to more days in near future
Start Date: Immediate
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active Maryland dental license in good standing
- Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners licensure required
- DEA registration
- Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
- General dentists with interest in treating children will be considered
- Excellent communication skills with children and parents
- Ability to create a positive, comforting environment for young patients
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients
- Perform routine examinations, cleanings, fillings, and other dental procedures
- Educate patients and parents about oral hygiene and preventive care
- Work collaboratively with dental assistants and office staff
- Maintain accurate patient records
