Roles and responsibilities include and are not limited to:
The ability to review and understand patient health histories
Establishing and nurturing relationships with our patients
Providing quality patient care clinically through appropriate clinical therapies
Educating patients on oral health care conditions, appropriate therapies, and oral health care instructions
Taking appropriate diagnostic quality x-rays
Periodontal charting
Restorative charting
Create clinical and factual documentation in patient notes
Understand care and maintenance for all instruments and equipment
Meet all OSHA/HIPAA requirements
Practice proper sterilization protocol
Soft skills should include:
Maintain positivity through interactions, mindset, and communication with patients, team, and leadership
Provide and maintain clear, concise, and professional communication with patients, team, and leadership
Have the ability to actively listen, understand, and assess/address patient concerns and needs
Work independently and with the team
Contribution to practice growth by providing solution-based input to challenges, participating in community-based marketing efforts, and team activities
Requirements:
License to practice Dental Hygiene in North Carolina
Any additional certifications and requirements to meet state standards
OSHA/HIPAA
CPR
General Local Anesthesia is not mandatory but would be an asset
Salary will commiserate with experience
