RESPONSIBILITIES
● The job responsibilities of this Registered Dental Hygienist include, but are not limited to:
● Provide high-quality hygiene care, including thorough cleanings, periodontal therapy, and holistic treatments such as ozone and laser therapy (training provided).
● Educate patients on the connection between oral and overall health, including diet, airway function, and systemic inflammation.
● Conduct comprehensive oral assessments, including periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and diagnostic imaging.
● Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, collaborating with the dentist on treatment planning.
Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure patient and team safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
● Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Texas
● X-ray certification
● CPR & First Aid certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor and ability to build trust with patients
● Proficient computer skills and knowledge
Preferred
● 2+ years of experience as a dental hygienist
● Comfortable educating patients on oral-systemic health connections
● Ability to engage in patient education and treatment follow-ups
● Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
Desired
● Passion for biological dentistry and preventive care
● Awareness of holistic dental concepts and biological dentistry
● Experience with Airflow therapy, ozone, and laser therapy (training provided)
● Interest in continued education and advanced holistic techniques
