We are looking for a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental family. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position involves working closely with both patients and dental professionals to deliver exceptional hygiene services in a friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and preventative treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
• Assess and record patients' oral health, medical histories, BP and concerns.
• Take digital X-rays.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventative care.
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and provide supportive treatment options.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
• Collaborate with dentists and the rest of the dental team to ensure optimal patient care thru individualized patient care plans.
• Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
• Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications:
• Valid Dental Hygienist license in NJ.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and promoting oral health education.
• Experience with Dentrix is preferred.
Hours are as follows: Alternating Mondays 9-5pm, Alternating Thursdays 9-5pm & every Friday 8-5pm including 1-2 Saturdays a month from 8-2pm (these hours are flexible).
