Dental Director (full-time, 32-40 hours per week):

At WTFC, we provide free, comprehensive dental care to uninsured and underinsured adults. If you are a passionate and talented dentist, you could be our new Dental Director practicing in our new 4-chair dental suite!
Dentist Responsibilities:
• Serve as WTFC Dental Director to ensure the correct and safe provision of care to patients according to dental, clinical, legal and ethical guidelines.
• Manage and communicate with dental coordinator, dental assistants and dental hygienist to provide best-practice care to patients.
• Confer with patients to treat dental needs, perform comprehensive oral exams, read x-rays and create treatment plans for improved oral health and hygiene.
• Provide oversight to paid and volunteer dental staff as well as precept students.
• Collaborate and confer with onsite Medical Director regarding shared patients as needed.
• Perform dental procedures including extractions, fillings, endodontics, periodontics and full and partial prosthodontics using examination and treatment dental tools, including drills, probes, brushes, and mirrors.
• Order diagnostic measures, including x-rays (pano and hand-held), models, etc.
• Record patients’ treatment details in EHR software (Dentrix).
This is a full-time (32-40 hours/week) opportunity. Salary range: $170,000 - $200,000 based on experience. WTFC is a drug-free workplace and an equal opportunity employer.
