Join our dynamic General Practice in Ennis, TX! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist who is looking for more than just a job. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients in a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise and skills will be highly valued. This is a part time position with hours on Mon/Wed from 9:00-5:00pm.
Responsibilities:
· Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
· Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging techniques
· Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and oral health evaluations
· Assist with patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using Dentrix or similar software
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years experience working as a dental hygienist preferred but not required
· Current CPR certification
· Proven experience in performing dental hygiene periodontal procedures
· Proficient in medical imaging techniques for taking and developing x-rays
· Strong knowledge of and passion for patient education
· Excellent communication skills
· Positive and professional demeanor
