PERMANENT FULL TIME HYGIENIST
PRIVATE DENTAL OFFICE IN THE WOODLANDS
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week (4 working days)
- Our Schedule alternates 2-day weekend & 4-day weekend schedule.
Alternating 4 working days each week:
- Monday-Thursday
- Tuesday-Friday
(Hours: Mon, Tue, Wed 9am-5pm, Thu, Fri 7am-3pm)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and positive and outgoing hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. Above all, we have fun at work and have amazing patients!
Responsibilities:
- Able to see 3-8 patients a day with exceptional care.
- iTero scans & photo records for new patient exams.
- Perio charting as required.
- Diagnostic radiographs take at a high quality standards.
- Assist dentists during examinations and some easy procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare hygiene rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using OpenDental software & EZ Denti xray software.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Skills:
- Proficient at going over SRP consent forms and post-op care instructions & follow-up calls.
- Experience in dental hygiene with a focus on patient care.
- Detail oriented & organized.
- Knowledge in prediagnosing and understanding treatment planning and being able to confidently discuss with patients.
- Experience with cord packing, iTero 3D scanning technology.
- 1 yr experience, RDA background, Bilingual - these are all plus but not required.
