Job Summary:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. You’ll perform routine cleanings, educate patients on proper dental hygiene, and work with our team to provide excellent patient experiences and optimal oral health outcomes. You’ll be an integral part of our practice as we continue to grow, and there are opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine dental cleanings and remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
Conduct periodontal evaluations and assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth.
Assist dentists with various procedures and provide chairside support.
Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
Stay up to date with advancements in dental hygiene and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Current state license as a Dental Hygienist.
Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (if required by the state).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care and comfort.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on experience)
