Salary: ranging from $45-55 per hour
Employment type: Part-time - Fridays 9-5pm with 1 hour lunch break at 1pm. Occasionally we are open on Thursday instead of Friday.

Summary: The Dental Hygienist is responsible for patient data collection and documentation, taking xrays, patient education, and the delivery of preventive and periodontal dental treatment as part of the dentist-directed oral hygiene team.
Responsibilities:
Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
Experience using electronic medical records
Exhibit a strong chair side manner
Take patient radiographs
Stay on schedule
Educate patient on oral hygiene, health, and disease
Conduct oral cancer screenings
Applying fluorides and sealants
Patient screenings
Take alginate impressions and fabricate whitening trays is a plus
Document patient tooth charts and perio charts
Reappoint patients for recall
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Hygienist License in Texas
Certification for other duties as required by state practice act
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law
Experience with Open Dental is preferred
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
Knowledge of all company policies and rules
Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
