Registered Dental Hygienist
Progressive Periodontics is currently seeking to add a new member as a Dental
Hygienist to our practice that has been in operation for 25 years in a state of
the art, elegant and warm office in Fayetteville, Ga.
Position Summary: Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other
hygiene-related services, Periodontal Dental Hygienists are committed to
improving the oral health of patients Candidates must be enthusiastic about
their profession and willing to provide the highest level of care. We are up to date with the newest Ivory ReLeaf system, use of a IVE suction mirror, eye protection, face shied and disposable PPE for COVID-19 procedures.
Responsibilities: Evaluates overall oral health Examining oral cavity for
signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers and sores Notation of
recession and , bleeding gingiva and oral lesions Document dental
history/chief complaint Records and reports pertinent observations and patient reactions to
dental staff as appropriate Document lab procedures and ensures follow-up on
results *Follow through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with
treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist
Procedures:
Prophylaxis
Periodontal Scaling & Root planning
Application of fluoride treatment
CPR certified to assist with or institutes emergency
measures for sudden adverse development during treatment of patients
*Offer additional help to other members of staff ensuring a team effort is created
Minimum Education & Experience:
Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in the State of Ga
Must have at least 2 years of experience
Must have periodontal experience
Must be able to work in a team environment
*Experience using Dentrix, Dexis, and Microsoft Office.
