Private practice seeking a registered dental hygienist to cover full time (4 days/week) for 3-month maternity leave (July, August, September). Position would then resume at part time (2 days/week) on Mondays and Wednesdays. Hygienist sees 7-8 patients/day.
Our office is open M-Th 7:30am-3:30pm. We are located in the River Oaks/Galleria area - 2900 Weslayan, Suite 420. Practice has been at this location for over 20 years.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Maintaining and official state license, seating patients and taking vitals and medical history, taking digital radiographs with both wall- mounted unit and Nomad, performing intraoral scans and photos, performing routine prophylaxis and non-surgical scaling and root planning, delivering anesthesia if certified, delivering OHI, applying fluoride, scheduling recall visits, following proper sterilization protocols and placement of sealants.
