We are seeking a dedicated Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to our patients and work collaboratively with our dental team
Duties:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, surgical extractions, root canals, removable dentures and crowns
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures
- Collaborate with the dental office team to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality
- Apply knowledge of dental anatomy and medical coding in practice
- Interpret and analyze medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Active state dental license in good standing
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
