Job Description:
As a Full-Time/Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist at Smiles By Design, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining excellent oral health for our patients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting thorough dental cleanings and oral exams to assist Dr in identifying problem areas
Taking digital dental x-rays
Providing preventive dental care, including fluoride treatments and sealants
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices
Assisting the dentist during dental exam as needed
Recording and maintaining patient treatment records
Collaborating with the dental team to ensure the highest standard of patient care
Qualifications:
Current and valid Texas Dental Hygienist license or we can wait until your license is received for new grads
CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to educate and communicate effectively with patients
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate patient records
Team player with a positive attitude
