Large dental office located in Oxon Hill, Maryland (southern Prince Georges County) searching for the right candidate to complete our team.
This position is full time. It requires a dental hygiene license.
Office hours are 7am – 5pm; this position is for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Fridays we are open 7am to 1pm and closed every other Friday. NO WEEKENDS.
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and be knowledgeable in the latest dental hygiene techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine dental cleanings, taking x-rays, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, educating patients on proper oral hygiene, and providing preventative care. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
Assess patient's oral health condition and provide preventive dental care.
Perform professional dental cleanings.
Take dental x-rays.
Document patient's medical history and treatment plans.
Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the dental office.
Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques.

Pay: $55.00 -$60.00 hourly rate plus commission % on collections. Hourly rate will be based on experience and skill evaluation at working interview.
