Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school Dentistry & New York State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Dentist
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Knowledge and abilities commensurate with those of comprehensive, general dentistry
Strong communication skills and enjoy working with people from a wide socio-economic and diagnostic background
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions affecting teeth and gums
Perform exams using x-rays and diagnostic tools to identify oral health issues
Restore cavities with composite, amalgam, and other materials
Administer local anesthesia and perform extractions and minor oral surgeries
Clean teeth by scaling and treat infections with medication or surgical methods
Take impressions and fit patients for crowns, dentures, bridges, and other prosthetic appliances
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Manage daily appointment schedule in alignment with clinic needs
Support and guide dental office staff; assist in policy and service development
Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement, and administrative activities
