We are a private periodontal office in the Pearland area looking for a positive, detail oriented, organized and highly motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. There is some flexibility with the days needed and can range from 1-3 days per week including Monday and Friday if desired.
Our hygiene hours are:
Monday 7:40am-12:00 pm
Tuesday 7:40am-5:00pm (lunch 1-2pm)
Wednesday 7:40am-5:00pm (lunch 1-2pm)
Thursday 7:40am-5:00pm (lunch 1-2pm)
Friday 7:40am-3:00 pm
As a dental hygienist your primary role would be to provide exceptional patient care as well as educating patients on their oral health. You would also want to ensure that the patient feels comfortable and confident about the care they receive. Daily responsibilities would include:
• Review charts and obtain radiographs needed.
• Clinical notes entered on all patients in a timely manner
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Keep operatories clean and well stocked
• Schedule follow up appointments
• Knowledgeable and skilled in digital radiographs
• Attention to detail
• Well organized and reliable
• Ability to work hygiene recall to keep patients on track
• Self sufficient limited guidance needed during any down time
• Bilingual a plus
• Experience with Dentrix and Dexis is a plus
• Laser certification beneficial, but not required.
• Experience working in a periodontal office also a plus
• Team player
REQUIREMENTS:
• Current RDH
• CPR certified
• Nitrous Oxide Certified
• At least 3 years experience as a dental hygienist beneficial, but not required
