We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist who loves working with children and has experience in pediatric dentistry. Position Details:
Start Date: Fall 2025 (pre-booking for October and training/soft launch prior)
Employment Type: Part-Time (with potential to grow)
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday & Tuesday: Clinical – seeing pediatric and teen patients for cleanings, fluoride, sealants, and hygiene education
Wednesday: Marketing and outreach – attending school visits, community events, or helping promote the practice locally
Requirements:
✔ Licensed Dental Hygienist in Georgia
✔ Experience working in pediatric or family dentistry
✔ Strong communication skills and ability to connect with children and parents
✔ Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
✔ Comfortable helping with community outreach and marketing efforts
✔ CPR Certification
Bonus if you have:
🌟 Previous experience with pediatric care that includes behavior management
🌟 Familiarity with digital charting and modern hygiene tools
🌟 Passion for community involvement and school-based education programs
Responsibilities:
Perform all dental hygiene procedures including but not limited to: routine care such as polishing, cleaning, oral hygiene instruction/education, use of cavitron, x-rays, application of fluoride/hydroxyapetite varnish, sealants, patient records/charting and other periodontal procedures
Work with dentist and assistant in developing and implementing OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and checklists to provide quality, clean, confidential care for patients
Assist in the administration of the hygiene recall system: schedule patients recall appointments/frequency based on periodontal status
