Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to patient care and office operations:
- Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, assessments, and preventative care for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, periodontal health, and preventive dental care.
- Take and interpret dental radiographs as necessary, ensuring that the highest safety standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans based on your assessments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the management of infection control procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- An associate's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution is required.
- A valid state dental hygiene license and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to build rapport with patients.
- Experience in a general dental practice is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
