We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in downtown Ann Arbor. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a strong dedication to patient care and education.
This is a full-time position Monday-Thursday, part-time candidates are also welcome to apply. Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene care including scaling, polishing, and oral prophylaxis.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
Assist the dentist during dental procedures when necessary.
Monitor and document patient health histories and treatment plans.
Sterilize dental instruments and ensure all infection control protocols are followed.
Provide personalized patient care and build trusting relationships with patients.
Stay up to date with dental hygiene advancements and maintain required certifications.
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Nitrous Oxide Certification
Local Anesthesia Certification (preferred)
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles, procedures, and radiology techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience with dental software systems such as Curve is a plus.
Current CPR certification is required.
