We are a periodontal office looking for an additional full-time RDH who values excellent patient care, patient education, and professionalism. The office is a two doctor, private, fee-for-service periodontal office with a strong, established hygiene pool and referral base. There will never be pressure to “produce” as a hygienist and never any time constraints for scaling and root planing cases. Our current full-time hygienist has elected to stay home with her new baby.
Applicants must have the following:
- Currently licensed and in good standing with the Board
- 3 professional references
- Pride and ownership in their work
- Proficient with hand instrumentation
- Proficient with sharpening and instrument maintenance
- Be comfortable educating about home care and oral health to a variety of different patient personalities and backgrounds.
- Takes continuing education and professional development seriously
- Nitrous monitoring certification
- Experience, especially if you've had experience in a periodontal or perio-heavy office
Local anesthesia certification is not required but will be preferred and taken into consideration for wage discussions.
