We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about prevention, education, and patient-centered care to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
The Registered Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in supporting our mission of complete health by providing high-quality hygiene services, educating patients on the link between oral and systemic health, and building long-term patient relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Provide dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and non-surgical periodontal therapy (SRP)
• Take radiographs and intraoral photos as needed
• Educate patients on proper home care, disease prevention, and overall health connections
• Perform periodontal charting and documentation accurately in Dentrix Ascend
• Work closely with the dentist and team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
• Assist with patient communication, scheduling, and follow-up when needed
Qualifications:
• Current North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (required)
• Local anesthesia certification (preferred)
• Excellent clinical, communication, and patient education skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and dependable
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend preferred but not required (training provided)
