Our dental practice is looking for an experienced, friendly and professional Part Time Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated by dental practice management and will expand the services that we currently offer to our patients. The desired qualifications are a commitment to dental hygiene education and experience working with a variety of patients.
Responsibilities:
Must be a licensed oral healthcare professional
Responsible for performing preventive and therapeutic procedures to maintain oral health and prevent dental diseases.
Conduct dental assessments, remove tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth
Take and develop x-rays, and educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
Apply sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a strong knowledge of dental anatomy.
Must have and provide certifications from accredited dental hygiene programs and pass the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination.
