Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Patient-Centered Care:
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and create individualized treatment plans
Provide preventive services including cleanings and patient education on oral hygiene best practices
Execute restorative procedures: fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions
Conduct endodontic therapy including root canal treatments
Address orthodontic concerns such as malocclusion and crowding
Apply cosmetic and preventive treatments including sealants and professional whitening
Clinical Operations & Leadership:
Order and evaluate diagnostic imaging (radiographs, digital scans, study models)
Prescribe appropriate medications including analgesics, antibiotics, and antimicrobials
Administer local anesthesia and conscious sedation following proper protocols
Demonstrate expertise with dental instruments and contemporary treatment technologies
Maintain meticulous patient records and clinical documentation
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, specialists, and administrative personnel
Ensure adherence to all OSHA, HIPAA, and state/federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications
Required:
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution
Valid Texas dental license or eligibility for licensure
Current professional liability/malpractice insurance
Proficiency with dental practice management software and electronic health records
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of modern dental procedures, materials, and techniques
Strong clinical judgment and leadership capabilities
Preferred:
Advanced certifications or specialized training
Experience with digital dentistry and modern practice technologies
