Sequoia Smiles is seeking an RDH to join our family-oriented and patient-focused team.
As a Dental Hygienist at Sequoia Smiles, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve and desire.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current dental hygienist license in Georgia
CPR Certification
Prefer Experience
Responsibilities:
Ensure patients feel comfortable before and during examination and treatment
Following proper Sterilization protocol
Check oral health history and screening patients' oral health
Identifying gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Delivering oral hygiene instructions to patients of all ages
Take diagnostic X-rays or dental impressions (digital X-rays and digital scanning techniques used at office)
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient (paperless system-Open Dental)
Monitor supplies
Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
Experienced Hygienists and New Grads are encouraged to apply
