Traveling General Dentist – Wilmington, DE 19904 (Dover-Based Role)
SeniorDent is hiring a Traveling General Dentist to provide on-site dental care in nursing and long-term care facilities across Delaware, including the Wilmington area. About the Role
As a SeniorDent Traveling Dentist, you’ll deliver essential dental services directly to residents in nursing homes and care communities throughout Delaware. You’ll enjoy the independence of managing your own schedule while being supported by a team that values patient comfort, compliance, and quality outcomes.
What You’ll Do
⁃ Perform comprehensive dental exams, diagnoses, and treatments
⁃ Provide dentures, extractions, and restorative procedures
⁃ Ensure accurate and compliant patient documentation
⁃ Offer compassionate, patient-centered care to elderly and mobility-limited individuals
What You’ll Bring
⁃ DDS/DMD and an active Delaware dental license
⁃ Professional liability coverage (or eligibility under group plan)
⁃ Strong clinical judgment, empathy, and organizational skills
⁃ Experience with geriatric or mobile dentistry preferred but not required
Compensation
$125 per hour or approximately $180,000 annually (based on contract schedule). Includes travel reimbursement and flexible scheduling.
Location
This role is based in Dover, DE 19904, with service coverage throughout Wilmington and northern Delaware. Most travel is within a few hours, with occasional overnight stays as needed.
