Join our friendly, patient-focused team at Ridgewood Dentistry! We are seeking a Full-Time/Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to provide exceptional care in our modern, welcoming practice. We allow generous appointment times so you can focus on quality, not speed.
Appointment Times
• Adult dental cleanings: 1 hour
• Children's cleanings: 45 minutes
• New patient appointments: 1.5 hours
Our schedule is designed to support thorough, patient-centered care without rushing.
Responsibilities
• Provide prophylaxis, SRP, periodontal maintenance, and patient education
• Take digital X-rays and maintain charting/documentation
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure excellent patient experiences
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and home care
• Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols
Qualifications
• Active New Jersey RDH license
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
• Experience with Dentrix dental software preferred
