Position Overview:
As a Dental Hygienist at Chester County Dentistry for Children, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality preventive care while ensuring each patient has a comfortable and positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings, X-rays, fluoride treatments, and periodontal therapy.
Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized home care.
Collaborate with dentists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate clinical records, documenting assessments, treatments, and recommendations.
Follow strict infection control protocols and ensure a clean, organized operatory.
Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques, tools, and technologies.
Support the clinical team by monitoring inventory and maintaining hygiene-related supplies.
Foster a welcoming, positive environment for patients and team members.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
Active state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records is a plus.
Work Environment:
Dental operatory setting with cleanings and assessments.
May require standing for extended periods and exposure to dental equipment and materials.
