We’re looking for a caring and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our friendly, patient-focused dental practice. If you’re passionate about helping patients to feel comfortable, confident, and informed about their oral health, we’d love to meet you.
Important note: Our practice does not perform periodontal (perio) procedures. This allows you to focus on preventive care and patient education in a more streamlined, lower-stress clinical environment.
What You’ll Do:
-Provide thorough preventive dental cleanings using proper aseptic and infection-control techniques
-Complete patient assessments, including reviewing medical and dental histories
-Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care in a clear, supportive way
-Take dental X-rays and other imaging as needed, following safety guidelines
-Accurately document patient care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
-Support dentists with chairside assistance when needed
-Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
-Stay current on best practices and advancements in dental hygiene
What We’re Looking For:
-Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Indiana
-Experience with Dexis is a plus, but not required
-Solid understanding of general dentistry, dental anatomy, and terminology
-Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting preferred
-Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-focused approach
-Comfortable with clinical documentation and basic dental coding concepts
-Commitment to ongoing professional development and infection control standards
