Looking for a motivated Dental hygienist. Team player with a great personality who is not afraid to work in a busy office.
Duties include:
Cleaning teeth: Removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth, usually called a 'scale and polish' or prophylaxis
Examining oral areas: Looking for signs of oral disease in the head and neck
Educating patients: Teaching oral hygiene techniques, such as how to brush and floss correctly
Applying sealants and fluorides: Helping to protect teeth
Taking and developing x-rays: When necessary
Documenting patient care: Including treatment plans and findings reported to dentists
Assisting dentists: Helping them decide treatments for gum disease or teeth, and handling dental emergencies
