We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dentist to join our client's reputable & private dental office. They are needing a dentist who can work 4 days per week and who has at least 5 years of experience, as this is a busy office.
The current associate is moving soon so there is already a busy patient base already developed. They also have a healthy flow of new patients each month. This is a modern office with a wonderful staff of assistants, hygienists and front desk. It is also a FFS and PPO office, with no HMOs and no Medicaid. They are seeking a full time dentist ideally. No nights and no weekends are required.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Skills
5+ years of experience as a dentist.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred; ability to work effectively with children.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in diagnostics.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient documentation and treatment planning.
