Field Service Engineer (FSE)
Overview: We are seeking experienced Field Service Engineers (FSE) to provide technical support, customer service, and onsite troubleshooting for commercial lighting control systems. As an FSE, you will travel to various job sites, managing system installations, repairs, and ongoing service needs. This role is ideal for someone with an electro-mechanical background, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing advanced control systems at commercial job sites.
- Coordinate and organize onsite visits with contractors and facility managers to ensure proper installation.
- Manage lifecycle services, including system upgrades, repairs, and end-user training.
- Act as a technical expert for older systems and ensure all fieldwork adheres to safety and service procedures.
- Adapt to changing market needs and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 5+ years of combined work experience or education in electro-mechanical or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer operation (Microsoft Office, web navigation, and file management) required. Networking experience is a plus.
- Strong electrical system troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities with experience working in fast-paced job site environments.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not mandatory.
Locations:
- Candidates should reside within an hour of Washington, DC, or NYC.
Travel & Schedule:
- Expect 20-25% overnight travel (usually driveable distances). Some shift work may be required based on customer needs, with schedules subject to change.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
