Dr. Jeff Rouse and Dr. Lisa Rouse are seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist in the Alamo Heights/Quarry area for our elite, well established, multi-disciplinary Prosthodontic and General practice. 7:30-5:00, Monday- Thursday Candidate must have superior customer service skills and be ready to join a high achieving team. We are seeking a reliable self-starter with high initiative, ability to work independently, competent decision-making, and an openness to learn a new method of comprehensive dentistry. Candidate must be personable and team-oriented. Computer software experience preferred, but not required. Must be willing and ready to learn, with a focus on inter-team communication and patient education. Tasks include but may not be limited to:

Routine hygiene services and periodontal maintenance.
Implant maintenance to include overdentures and hybrids.
Ability to evaluate airway and need for myofunctional therapy
Take digital x-rays
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatory
Obtain patients' dental records
Maintain patient comfort
Sequence treatment plans
Communicate with front office staff regarding treatment completed and treatment needed
Emphasize patient education Applicant requirements:
3+ hygiene experience
Radiology license
CPR/BLS certified
