We are seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality oral health care and educating patients on preventive dental strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental cleanings and preventive care, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride application.
Review health histories and update as needed
Take digital dental x-rays, intraoral photographs, and maintain accurate patient records.
Assess oral health conditions and communicate findings to the dentist.
Assess periodontal health and review findings with dentist to treatment plan and perform scaling and root planning
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of dental operatory.
Apply sealants and other preventative treatments as needed.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
Comply with all dental practice safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

Current state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)/ Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (CRDH).
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental hygienist
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
CPR certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus.
