Responsibilities:
Screening patients during check-ups
Reviewing patient's history
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Must be confident in periodontal disease education and treatment
Documents area of existing restorations
Use of X-ray
Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
Conduct screenings
Assist patients with oral hygiene education
Must be open to learning new dental concepts
Qualifications:
Active Louisiana Hygienist license
Current BLS/CPR certifications
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience (preferred)
Must be open, positive and flexible
