We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have a deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you have a steady hand and great bedside manners, we’d like to meet you.
Working Days: Tue-Wed-Thu
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides periodontal treatment including but not limited to scaling and root planning, prophylaxis, sealant placement, fluoride placement, education, and other duties under current dental license and state guidelines.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
- Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
- Outstanding communication skills and team player
- A patient and friendly personality
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene
- Valid license to practice
- Gathers and assembles pertinent patient data to assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment. Such information will include, but is not limited to medical or dental histories, x-ray surveys, and charting oral examinations.
- Maintains instruments, trays, and other dental equipment in a sterile environment, which includes sterilization, equipment maintenance following clinic policies/procedures and OSHA, CDC, and ADA standards.
- Log entries in the digital dental record in open dental software and maintain proper patient records following state guidelines and HIPPA standards.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings to review team progress in meeting financial and productivity goals for the dental program.
- Act as a back-up dental assistant as needed.
Qualifications:

Licensed Dental Hygienist in the State of Texas in good standing.

Minimum 2 years of experience as an RDH

Current CPR certification
compensation: starts at $46/hr based on experience
