Role Requirements:
• Registered Dental Hygienist with active dental hygienist license in Georgia
• Knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner
• Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, must be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients and other staff members
• Desire to provide excellent care and positive patient experience
• Basic computer skills required with the ability to learn new programs if necessary
Once you join our team, your job responsibilities will include:
• Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and care in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state of Georgia
• Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line
• Apply preventive materials to the teeth
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies and at-home techniques to maintain proper oral health
• Patient screening procedures such as assessment of oral health conditions and review of health history
• Assess patients’ teeth indicating the presence of any abnormalities or conditions
• Set-up and breakdown of equipment and materials needed for treatment procedures
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
