ASSOCIATE DENTIST
The Associate Dentist provides patients with high-quality, comprehensive dental care and ensures a positive patient experience while supporting the clinical and operational goals of the practice. RELOCATION MAY BE AVAILABLE. Great opportunity in work in beautiful El Paso, TX.
Responsibilities
• Treat all patients in a professional, respectful, and friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment.
• Address patient questions and concerns thoroughly and compassionately.
• Educate patients about their dental health, diagnosis, and available treatment options.
• Collaborate effectively with Dental Assistants and Hygienists to coordinate patient care.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary.
• Present clear, complete treatment plans that include procedures, fees, and payment policies.
Perform Clinical Dentistry Functions Thoroughly and Efficiently
• Diagnose dental conditions and formulate appropriate, individualized treatment plans.
• Provide care to manage or eliminate disease, restore function and aesthetics, and prevent further issues.
• Maintain accurate, clear, and thorough patient records, including medical histories, diagnoses, procedures, and informed consent.
• Deliver care that meets or exceeds the standard of care defined by your peers and professional guidelines.
• Comply with all state and federal dental regulations and the Dental Practice Act.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout treatment.
Practice and Operational Support
• Participate in daily morning huddles, team meetings, and practice events.
• Communicate with front desk staff to coordinate patient needs and time management.
• Notify the Office Manager promptly of schedule changes.
• Follow established patient scheduling protocols.
• Support and participate in marketing activities to promote practice growth.
Compliance and Safety
• Adhere to all OSHA regulations and Dental Practice Act guidelines.
• Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment for patients and staff.
• Practice infection control procedures consistently.
Qualifications
• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).
• Current, valid dental license in the state of practice (TX)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple clinical tasks efficiently.
