About the Role
As our new hygienist, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive preventive care and educating patients about oral health. You’ll collaborate with a team of skilled dental professionals in a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings (prophylaxis, SRPs, and perio maintenance).
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral images as needed.
- Conduct periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and notes using modern digital charting.
- Collaborate with Dr. Bivens and the clinical team to deliver seamless, top-tier patient care.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RDH license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Local anesthesia certification (preferred but not required)
- 1+ years of experience preferred, but new grads with strong clinical skills and patient rapport are welcome to apply!
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for patient care and building long-term relationships
