The Lincoln Memorial University–College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM) is seeking Clinical General Dentistry Faculty to serve at the LMU-Tower and LMU Community Care Clinics. This faculty member will supervise students in the Centers for Excellence (CE) as they care for their patient families, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered clinical education.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Dean for Clinical Affairs, this role focuses on:
Supervising and mentoring predoctoral dental students
Overseeing patient care within LMU-CDM clinical sites
Supporting a safe, efficient, high-quality learning environment
Modeling professionalism, clinical excellence, and evidence-based practice
Collaborating with faculty and staff to meet program, accreditation, and clinical care goals
Required Qualifications
D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree
Strong working knowledge of dental practice operations
Highly skilled in general dentistry
Adaptable, motivated, and able to work independently
Team-oriented, personable, patient-focused
Commitment to student learning, ethical care, and professional development
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in private practice performing comprehensive general dentistry
Prior experience in a dental teaching environment
*Interest in mentoring future dentists and supporting LMU’s mission
