We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our well-established dental practice. The ideal team member is dependable, calming, patient, and personable—someone who values building strong patient relationships, providing high-quality care, and working collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive team. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and we are offering the opportunity to work Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with the option to expand to five days if desired. Responsibilities:
• Perform dental cleanings and remove plaque, stains, and deposits from teeth
• Examine gums and oral tissues for signs of disease or abnormalities
• Make impressions for home bleaching
• Chart dental conditions and findings for dentist evaluation
• Assist in administering nitrous oxide as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take digital dental X-rays
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation
• Sterilize instruments and ensure operatories are clean and fully stocked
Requirements:
• Graduate of a state-approved Dental Hygienist program
• Alabama state licensure required
• New and upcoming Hygiene graduates welcome!
